Doc Marks
In need of a replacement hammer for an uberti 1875 Remington copy. Thanks in advance. for those who will inevitably comment that I can buy parts through cimarron and Taylors I am well aware. Already on the waiting list. I’m also familiar with vti and such but they don’t have any in stock either. I appreciate the help, I’m just asking here because no one has any in stock and no telling when more will be imported. Goody, SASS #26190
May I ask what is wrong with the one you have. They can be rebuilt, new notches cut.
Mudflat Mike, SASS #20904
I just sent ya a PM, I think I've got a pair, but not sure. You can have them if they'll work.
Jax T
I have been looking for a set of these hammers since February. I found 1 at Taylors, but no others. Hope you find a set. Good Luck Jax T

Doc Marks
Sear notch was either improperly stoned (altered engagement angle) or the steel is just so soft that at 200rnd count it is out of spec. Suspect the steel itself is the culprit
