No Show Joe Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 I’m looking for a but stock for a Stoeger coach gun and a Uberti 1873. I’m needing them so I can cut them down for a youngster. Thanks
SouthwestShooter Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 if you can't find the 73, I get the ladies and youth butt stock from Taylor's for wife's gun. Windy
No Show Joe Posted October 7, 2020 Author Posted October 7, 2020 I’ve been waiting for a stock from Taylor for 3 months. That was my original plan for the 73
Johnny Reno Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 I was on Midwest Gun Works yesterday and they showed both black painted wood and finished hardwoods stocks in stock for the SxS Coach guns. When the walnut stuff wasn't available I bought a "tactical" black one and sanded all the paint off. It turned out well. Here's a link to the OEM stock: https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/32401
Chert Rock Chuck Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 I’d try eBay as well. I saw lots of stuff over there for 66’s and 73’s last week.
Cimmarron Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 Joe, Texas Mean Gene can make some for you. Ask him this weekend at Red River Cowpokes
Marshal Eli Taylor Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 Which type of Uberti 73 stock are you looking for? Straight grip or pistol grip? I have a pistol grip that I purchased to cut down for my grandson but he didn't need it.
No Show Joe Posted October 8, 2020 Author Posted October 8, 2020 The straight grip is what I’m needing. Thanks for asking.
