After Hurricane Katrina, they went door to door confiscating guns.
Now, NOLA is at it again.

My son-in-law is a native of NOLA, and he claims it is actually the Murder Capitol of America.
On paper, it shows less than Chicago or Baltimore.
He claims it is all in the reporting of "murders" and how they are recorded.
Same as here in CA, the crime rate is lower when you do not arrest/prosecute for crimes.

The SCOTUS severely scolded the N.O. mayor the last time this happened.  A big lawsuit seeking massive punitive damages might be what it takes to put a stop to this illegal activity!!
