Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 4,040 Posted December 4 This is NOT for puppies needing housebreaking. a local breeder of whippets gave my friend a commission to make 25 diapers for her whippets when they come into heat, so they don’t mark the furniture. In use the “diaper” gets lined with a sanitary pad. my friend reckoned to finish the project during the just finished three day snow-in. i asked if she would do them for a bigger breed and she “Wasn’t sure”. ))). She got paid $25 each figuring 4 or 5 per yard of fabric.
Alpo 3,034 Posted Wednesday at 02:10 PM (edited) I remember doggie diapers 40 years ago when we were raising Beagles. The insert was not supposed to absorb the blood so they did not mark the furniture. It was supposed to absorb the smell, so every boy dog in for FOUR, DAMMIT OTTO square miles did not come visit. Injun Ryder, SASS #36201L 494 Posted Wednesday at 03:32 PM My MIL's 11 year old Yorkshire "Terror" has to wear them full time in the house as the MIL was too old (lazy?) to house train it.
Red Wolf 24 Posted Wednesday at 10:41 PM We put them on our dog whenever he's inside. He's 13 and tends to randomly pee in the house. We think that he might have some dementia causing the issue. He's peed on the refrigerator a few times. Red Wolf
