He told me the snow pack at Mammoth is so big, they will be open until the 4th OF JULY and possibly the end of July. The latest season on record for them. Colorado Coffinmaker Posted February 20, 2019 Share Posted February 20, 2019 A snowfall like this is what caught "The Donner Party" I don't know if they are still in the Cal State Park, but there use to be the "stumps" of the trees the Donner Party cut for survival.
