ZigMar
Has anyone out there done the case feeder option/upgrade to their Dillon 550 (note, 550, not 650) and has some thoughts on it? Pros? Cons? OBTWs? There are more than a few YouTube videos out there regarding the Dillon 550 and 650 and a few that feature the case feeder, but none that I can find that address upgrading a 550 with the automatic case feeder option specifically. If someone knows of one and could link it here, that would be appreciated too, or if someone who likes putting videos up on YouTube could produce one and link it here, that would also be appreciated. Cheers.
The Original Lumpy Gritz
The best D/550 case feeder I have found, is my right hand. Left hand for bullets....... OLG
Grinnin Jim
I have been going through the same thing either a case feeder or bullet feeder. I know the ones who have them like them and others won't even look at them!
Riverboat Red, SASS #71733
I put a case feeder on my 550 a couple of years ago. I love it, I won't go back. VERY easy to swap between .44-40 and .38.
Church Key, SASS # 33713
It's not my idea of saving loading time as I like to inspect brass just before seating them. I figure clearing one misfeed per session will eat up any time savings by the case feeder. Church Key
watab kid
i have a friend who has one NIB that he will never use because he came upon a 650 with one on it before it ever got installed - then he sold his 550 ,
Watauga Kid
I put mine on 10's of years ago. I will not load 500 rds without it. Not interested in the bullet feeder though, must have some contact.
