Flanigan Flats
I am trying to help a lady that my wife is friends with at church to sell an elk hide jacket that she made by hand for her late husband about 25 years ago. It is replica of Buffalo Bill Cody’s beaded elk hide jacket. I included a picture of Buffalo Bill wearing the original jacket that was taken at the Buffalo Bill museum in Cody, WY. It is made from the hides of 3 Montana Elk that were harvested by her husband. The jacket is a size 42 long and is completely handmade from all-natural materials to include real sinew thread, seed/trade beads. It is fully lined with cotton southwest pattern lining and is fringed down the sleeves and in a V across the back. It took a year and a half of painstaking work to complete. Please look at the pictures. They do a much better describing this jacket than I can. Please ask questions. She is asking $2000.
