Non-SASS, WW I Trench Knife

A WW 1 US Trench Knife. I know nothing about this and am not a collector of Military knives. This was in my grandmother's underwear drawer after she died. None of the family served in WW 1, I am guessing she picked it up at the thrift shop where she worked. The scabbard is the usual for this brand of knife. Made by A.C. Co. From what I can find on the internet there were two manufactures of trench knives and this is the rarer. Blade looks sharpened (file marks) but I don't know if that is the way it should be.  I see this brand for sale for $550. So I'm pricing it at $300 shipped to you. First "I'll take it" here has priority.
