Throckmorton,23149
Years ago I bought one of the ''iron' Aussie coats, stiff as a board on wet drippy days, but man it sheds water ! A month after a match I still had a pocket full of water.lol Do the softer versions shed water as well,or close ? My shoulder would like to not have to fight so much to get a coat back on. thanks. Jackson Rose, SASS #45478
I have a "soft" Aussie coat maade of black denim. It sheds water for about 1 minute. I use a slicker for rainy days.

Halliday Kid
The original coats are Drizabone. http://www.drizabone.com.au/ The traditional oilskin coats shed water very well. They last for years and stand all kinds of abuse.
