It requires no modification to your guns, no special lubes, no special bullets, and it's simple to clean. My Vaqs are modified to shoot BP or subs. But I strictly shoot real BP. I also shoot smokeless with the same Vaqs with no problem. Cylinder/barrel gap needs to be opened up a little bit. Use lube that is appropriate for real BP that will keep the crud soft to reduce binding. Be safe, shoot straight, have fun. I. M. Dutch Wheeler Posted August 24, 2015 Share Posted August 24, 2015 When I shoot BP out of my .45 Colt NMV, popping the cylinders out half way through a six stage match, and wipeing the face off with Moose Milk sprayed on a rag makes them good to go, no mods required.
