Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
I tried, but my wife was tougher on me than any sergeant I had. "You looking like that reflects on me!" SSGT Buxton seemed to feel that way also. All that boot polish, and all that brasso and all those inspection and drills. Heck, fir, a feller never had any time to socialize. Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967
Didja notice that they all have buttons on the sleeves? He77, they got buttons everywhere. I seem to recall having read somewhere that those buttons were originally put there to discourage the troopers from using their sleeves as hankies. Seems to have caught on ~ we still have 'em to this day!
