Dungannon Gunner
A very good friend just stopped by and gave me a Winchester brand 1892 in 38-40. SN starts with 345. Maybe mfg. in 1905. Condition is very good, however it has been blued. Can I shoot Cowboy with this gun and does anybody have any idea of value? Thanks!

backshootin beauford mcgee
be careful with it shooting cowboy. my guess is that it is worth as much or more than a new Uberti!
Middlefork Bob, SASS #53945
LGS had one a while back SRC with nice Patina excellent bore closet queen that a widow brought in, he marked $1600 on it and I drooled over it for about 2 months he eventually sold it though. Wish I could have swung it
Roger Rapid
DG... I have a '92 in 38-40 with SR# 293XX in very good condition - Fjestad's Blue Book values it at $2,500. I wouldn't say it it runs "great", but it is a good CS rifle. 38-40 is a nice load. Good that you have one!!! RR
