Rufus Brady
Two for one deal! Here’s your chance. A while back, I said I was thinking on trading my Uberti Abilene. Several of you were all over me asking what selling price I was asking. As always, I prefer horse-trading. Now, the holidays are over and I’m looking to test the waters for a trade. What I have: a nickel-plated, Uberti Abilene with 7.5” barrel in .45 (long) Colt caliber. Extra set of pearl grips (but, they are pretty tacky, actually). Also included: An original S & W model 1 ½ (?) in 38 S & W caliber. Excellent condition, clean, no dings (a few handling marks is all). What I want in trade? A Colt SAA. I have a preference for a Sheriff/Storekeeper Model, or a Bisley. Caliber is not a deal breaker but I prefer 44 spl or 45 Colt. I am a shooter, so safe queens need not apply. Conditions: 1. Even trade (No money on my part). 2. Each side bears own costs. http://i1128.photobucket.com/albums/m482/BearBio/114-Copy-Copy-Copy.jpg http://i1128.photobucket.com/albums/m482/BearBio/110-Copy-Copy-Copy.jpg http://i1128.photobucket.com/albums/m482/BearBio/097-1.jpg http://i1128.photobucket.com/albums/m482/BearBio/DSCN0077.jpg http://i1128.photobucket.com/albums/m482/BearBio/DSCN0076.jpg

Rufus Brady
Uberti and S&W for a Colt SAA, I think you are going to have to sweeten the deal!!! $$$$ WW Uberti lists for $1499.00 new (this model isn't made anymore) Recent sales were: $789 (used=Gunsamerica); $1039 (used Cabelas); $930 (used Gunbroker) amd $1000 on GunAuction (used) Badly pitted S & W START at $300-$400=this is faded but otherwise pristine=much better than a recent sale at $500. SAA start NEW (3 rd generation) at about #1200. So, it looks pretty close in value. I would also consider a BLUE Colt Commander in 38 super or 45 acp. Rye Miles #13621
I have a Colt SAA in .44-40, blued CC 5 1/2" barrel, slight ring around the cylinder, it's a shooter blueing and grips good condition. No box but I do have a glass top wooden presentation box that could go with it. No pics right now. Rye
