Knarley Bob
Caught part of a WW1 "airplane combat" movie yesterday. Any one know the name of the film? Looked as to be on par with "The Blue Max" Thanks Knarley

Subdeacon Joe
My pleasure, sir. Good little flick. Gotta admire those guys. A brand new technology being taken into conflict for the first time, having to work out how to use it. They had to be half crazy to start with. Tom Foolery U.S.M. #2348
Good flick. CGI was great. There was a lot of truth the movie was based on. There was a black pilot with the French L.E., but he was a hothead and got busted out of the outfit. TF
Professor Tull, SASS #66742
If you get a chance, watch "Hells Angels", "Dawn Patrol", and "Wings" [silent], for some amazing WW I aerial combat scenes - using real planes and real pilots - NO CGI.Professor Tull
Jackson Haller
Howdy! Might I also suggest "The Lost Squadron" 1932; heck of a cast including a wonderfully evil Erich von Stroheim playing, what else, an evil movie director! (originally named "Erich von Stroheim" in the script, no less!)
Dawg Hair, SASS #29557
You may also want to add "Von Richtofen and Brown", and The Blue Max".
