John Boy
http://leeprecision.com/bullet-casting/black-powder-molds/black-powder-real-bullet-combo-molds/ Sure has a lot of lube capacity! Anyone using them for CAS and their experience with this bullet? Especially accuracy in revolvers
Mad Dog Jack, SASS #77862
Accuracy? Don't need no stinking accuracy! I don't cast, I use big lube bullets that seem accurate enough. These look more like front stuffer bullets to me, but they certainly look to hold enough lube...
Garrison Joe, SASS #60708
Umm, no, don't think I would even want to try them. First, there is no band into which to crimp the case mouth. When I shoot BP cartridge, I want a firm crimp to encourage as complete a deflagration as possible. Second, they have a bevel base. I find most bevel bases to be evil. Why not a Big Lube bullet? Why use a bullet designed for front stuffing in a cartridge case anyway? Good luck, GJ
