Yellowhouse Sam # 25171
Unless you drop a bullet from it you likely won't know. The Lyman 375248 drops about a .378-9 bullet for instance. A quick call to SAECO tech reps would verify it but if memory serves me right it'll drop about like the Lyman. Moderator over on the Cast Boolit forum says his drops at .382 but didn't specify alloy. I am currently shooting 378, but my rifle likes the 379. So, when I run out of the 378s, I will be loading 379s.
Marshal Too Tall, SASS #36690
The Saeco #62638 will weigh around 225 grains depending on the alloy mix. It is designed to be cast, not sized. The diameter of the mold cavity is .3845 at the base driving band and .378 at the front driving band. This will cast a bullet compatable with barrels having a .378 to .379 groove diameter. Thanks for asking. ...Too Tall...
