Marauder SASS #13056
A possibility is to order the parts for the TTN 97. I am not certain, but they say they are a true copy of the Winchester 97, including standard threads. http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/Products.aspx?catid=7452 Hopefuully, some of the gunsmiths will validate that - or say otherwise. Awful Close
I have been told by one gunsmith that even though the TTN uses screws that are american threads, they are still different than the Winchester screws/bolts. I tried to find an allen headed long bolt to replace the slot headed buttstock bolt in my original 97. Turned out the thread count on the Winchester bolt was half way between coarse and fine. I guess Winchester wanted the after-market business in in replacement bolts and screws.
