  1. Another option not mentioned is the Hornady 366. I bought one used from the Trap Ranger officer at my local range for $100 two years ago, and then added maybe $25 worth of parts. I only reload 12 gauge, one set up with 7 1/2 shot for trap and the other with 9 shot reduced loads for my 1897. I reload less than 2000 rounds a year. no regrets at all on the Hornady.
  2. Sent PM a few days ago. Please reply via PM. thanks, Capt’n Rudy
  3. Wild Willingham, thank you for the suggestions. Most appreciated. Capt’n Rudy
  4. Good question Okie. Just revised the description to state it fit my Ruger with 2.25” barrel. not sure if a 3” would fit. sorry can’t be more help. Capt’n Rudy
  5. No longer have the revolver and here’s a hardly used Triple-K holster. Can be worn OWB with the belt loop, but mainly IWB with the clip. Snap on top for pistol retention. Fits SP101 357 with 2.25” barrel, with exposed hammer (not bobbed). MSRP is $63. my price is $25 shipped. Thanks for looking, Capt’n Rudy
  6. Recently I offered for sale this Sporterized Smith-Corona 1903-A3 and received a number of great comments from fellow Cowboys. Percy Halley even shared a photo of how he converted his Dad’s sporterized 1903 back to original. (Thanks Percy). So that’s where I’m headed since my son wants one of my other 1903-A3’s in trade for his Marlin Levermatic 30 Carbine. I’ll keep this Smith-Corona as a shooter. Here’s a list of parts I’m looking for, and hoping a Cowboy or two might have them laying around. Butt Plate (have both screws) Handguard Ring Lower Band with screw and sling loop Stacking Swivel band with screw and stacking loop Upper band with screw Stock with lower band retaining clip, and handguard with two metal clips Suggestions are most welcome. And thanks in advance, Capt’n Rudy, (USCG, Retired)
  7. Here’s a rifle that’s a great shooter and is excess to my current needs (and space in the safe.) Springfield 1903-A3 made by Smith-Corona and still wearing the original 1942 barrel. The stock was sporterized by the previous owner and then I added a scope by tapping/drilling the receiver and changing the bolt. I haven’t shot it in a couple years and have since moved the scope and bent bolt to another rifle. It has an original trigger which was smithed and is just under 3lbs. I usually shot my cast 200 grain Lyman GC’d bullets with five-round groups, which @ 100 yards were just over an inch, center to center. See the last photo from 2016. $475 plus shipping. Or face to face in central Florida. Trades considered. Please send me a PM. Thanks for looking, Capt’n Rudy
  8. Looking for a Levermatic chambered in .30 Carbine. Please PM me if you have one you’d let go to a good home, at a reasonable price. Thanks, Capt’n Rudy
  9. Scale goes to Kodiak Jack. Just sent you a PM. now it’s your turn to post something for free.
  10. Free RCBS scale and powder trickle. Came from an estate sale and is a leftover. Needs a new home. Appears to be missing the powder dish since the scale will not balance without almost 130 grains. Picture shows three 55gr FMJ 223’s. Also comes with a powder trickle. Free to the first interested, for the $17 cost of postage in a priority mail Med FRB. If I can mail it cheaper I’ll refund the overage. And remember to post something for free, and continue to pay it forward. Regards from Florida, Capt’n Rudy, USCG retired
