  1. I shot a Uberti 73 using 45 Schofield rounds for years without any problems. I switched to black powder only 15 years ago and sold the 45 caliber rifle and switched to 44/40. I had a Hartford 92 in 45 which would not cycle the 45 Schofield at all. Other shooters had 73’s that would not cycle the 45 Schofield rounds that were built after 2015 that would not cycle the Schofield rounds either. DC
  2. I have two pair of one piece Pietta grips for 1851 Navy C&B revolvers. I replaced these with Elk Horn grips as my primary revolvers shooting CAS. The adds I see advertise them that fit 1851, 1860 or 1861 revolvers. These grips will not work on a 1860 because they are sized as Navy grips and not Army grips. I replaced the 1851 Navies with 1860 Armies which I also replaced for the Elk Horn grips. Too many called missed rounds with the 36’s so switched to the 44’s and no problem with missed shots as often. Price is $60.00 shipped for both sets or $35.00 each shipped. Thanks, DC One pair are first two pictures and second two pictures are second set.
  3. I bought this rig ten years ago to use with my 12" Buntline C&B revolvers so I could pull them out to shoot. It worked great but sold the revolvers a couple years ago. The holsters are metal lined and 24 dummy rounds in 45 Colt are included in the price. The John Wayne 45/70 round is not included as it is a live round. The dummy rounds have no primers or powder so I can ship them legally. Price is $80.00 plus shipping CONUS. The name on the inside of the belt must be the builder. It is a 3" belt and is stamped 39". My waist is 34 and it fits me well on the center hole. I can tighten it to the 4th hole but not as comfortable . The largest I would say be 36-37 and the smallest 30-31. Thanks for looking. My Open Tops with 71/2 barrels fit nice. My snubbie revolvers with 3" barrels also fit well. Thanks for looking.
  4. Thank for the heads up Spades. I purchased four sets from him and enjoyed my trips to their home to pick them up and spend time with both of them. They will be missed. RIP
  5. I will take the 300 38 short brass if still available. DC
  6. I bought this for myself as a retirement gift in Nov 2005. It has never been fired. I used to wear Civil War Union uniforms to shoot in but too hot for me now. It has a chrome barrel and frame, engraved back strap, frame and barrel with engraved gold plated cylinder, grips are plastic Navy. Stored all these years in a shadow box in my reloading area. May trade for a 36 caliber muzzle loader rifle, hobbies change over the years for sure. Price is $425.00 shipped CONUS with no FFL. If your state requires an FFL the fee is on the buyer. Thanks for looking. DC
  7. I will need your address because what you sent has also disappeared from the SASS forum. DC
  8. I sent a message with my information yesterday. Just send me yours and I will get the package on the stage heading East. DC
  9. Works for me. Send me a message with your address. Thanks, DC
  10. I saw an article that Marshal was ill and would be back making his product the first of the year. I have not seen anything else so far. DC

  11. I have 189 Starline Brass in 45 Colt for sale of $23.00 plus shipping and 80 45 Colt mixed head stamp for $7.00 plus shipping. I will trade total amount of brass for 38 Long with a 2 to 1 ratio. I switched to 45 Schofield and C&B so don’t need the 45 anymore. Purchased two Open Tops in 38 and like the long Colt but a little short on brass. Any reasonable offer will be considered. Thanks, Diamond Curly
  12. The four Pietta revolvers I have shoot best with 451. The two sets of Uberti revolvers shoot best with 454. I do have a Pietta snubbie in 44 that I have shot a lot over 10 years that now shoots 454 better than 451 but only the one. Try each in your revolvers and see which works best for you. Good luck. DC
