    This is a very handsome rifle. 25.5" full octagon bbl, case color action and shotgun style buttplate. As you can see the stock is pistol grip style with grip and fore end checkered. This rifle has an 8 rd mag. There is no added safety other than the traditional half cock position in the hammer. No tang safety or rebounding hammer. Overall length: 44.875". Wt. 9.1 lbs. I have only function fired along with two guys from the gun shop, when I picked it up. Approx 25 rds. This beauty will be shipped in the original box w/all papers, etc. It also has a marbles peep sight for a grip mounting. Price is $ 1800.00 OBO, plus actual shipping & insurance, from my fro to yours. I also have dies brass and bullets. These will be sold before the rifle leaves my possession. Brass approx 100+. bullet s approx 325. Also have 3 boxes of HSM .45-70 Cowboy .405 gr. lead.

    Thank you both for the responses. My tech skills are on a par with my photo attempts. When I click on one of the paper clips a small box appears in the upper right corner of the screen, I click on that and the photo slowly shows up. If any body is really interested I can do some cell phone photos with a Ph # and just what you would like to see, (PM me.). I believe that Gunbroker has 2-3 of this model on the internet. Only minor changes are a fiber optic front sight an leaver wrap. Thanks for lookin'. C.W.

    One Slightly used pair of SASS NMV pistols. I bought this pair just because sometimes I just like to play with the big boys. They were very lightly used, as they still had the Ruger 75 lb. main springs installed. My wife called them two thumbs cockers ! After I changed to lighter Wolf springs I tried them out with some of my older Schofield rds. The nvm did not like the Schofield rim size nor did they like the Win or Rem primers that I had back then, not sure which they were! Price is $1750.00, shipping and insurance negotiable. Please PM me for any additional information. Additional info. I also tried them with my .45 Colt WB rifle rds and they worked just fine. All papers,s original SASS grips and springs.

      According to USPS, the checks for the pair of Colts from High Noon Henry and the Colt from Mercy Me arrived around noon today. I hope the get them sent out in the next couple days. I am having knee surgery Thursday, so i will be off the wire for a while and unable to drive for several weeks which may effect me getting the guns picked up. Depends on how the surgery goes. Full knee replacement. Thanks for the message and I will let you know how things go. Maddog

      I checked before I sent the check, I got a name, address and phone number, his SASS number is listed on the wire and he has been a member on the wire since June 2022 and has several hundred posts. I just saw the warning from you just now and I mailed the postal money orders last week..

    Jeff, stay clear of Mercy Me!! I tried to contact him? and asked for a photo of him holding that Colt and his SASS badge.  Said he wasn't home but would see what he could do when he got back.  I never heard from him again!!! Another cowboy replied to another of his ad's and got the same no go.  It is too good of a deal but there have been NO responses.  Just comments from friend to friend:rolleyes:.  C.W.

    Trainwreck, please let me know how this turns out.  I recently tried a transaction with MM on a Colt revolver.  I asked for a photo of him with the revolver and his SASS badge.  It was a no go.  C.W. Knight  #47289 L.

    McC, did you find the carrier that you were looking for?  If you are still looking, I have one that might fit the bill.  I bought it to maybe replace one that had a small hole from a casting flaw in an original Longhunter rifle.  Never was problem for me, but I sold the rifle to a rookie buyer and he cried about it being more used than my description and photos showed.  I gave him his money back minus my shipping & ffl cost, and sold the rifle to a very knowledgeable SASS shooter the day after I received back.  The new one I bought I sent to Sgt. Eli for lighting.  He found a casting flaw in it also but filled the small gap with JB Weld and finished it with final machining.  If you are interested PM me a cell phone # and I can provide a couple of photos.  The price will be $100.00 shipped me to you.  C.W.
