Cabbage Soup...... sure would like some

Its been over 15 years since I've had some GOOD cabbage soup.

 

I use to work with a top psychologist that was so down to earth...... he made his own HOMEMADE cabbage soup.

He put sausages in it, plus other stuff to really put some spirit to it.

 

I ain't had good, chop lickin, savory cabbage soup in over 15 years.   What a shame to live in E.TN and such a fine

delicacy seems to have been forgotten.

One of the easiest soups to  make.   Kielbasa, salt pork,  cabbage, onions, garlic, carrots,  celery,  salt,  pepper,  bay leaves,  juniper berries, broth of some sort- vegetable,  chicken,  or pork preferably- maybe mushrooms or tomatoes.   

 

Some assembly required.
