9mm is also very easy to reload and can be done for less money than 38 special.  Plenty of coated bullet suppliers.

You DO NOT want a crimp groove on bullets that are taper crimped.

So much for posting something snarky when I'm tired.  Although I was thinking Major ammo manufactures rather than "cottage" re-loaders.  And dang if you aren't quite correct.  One does NOT want a crimp on cartridges that head space on the case mouth.  DUH!!
