Is that the famous Washington DC cherry trees?

 

I ask because of the guy with the camera appears to be Japanese, and it seems like every Japanese tourist that comes to America takes pictures of the cherry trees in DC.

Yes, the blooms are early.

ive always wanted to be there for that - very nice and thanks for posting it , IIRC the trees were a gift from the japanese so there might be that in their interest in seeing them ,

Yes, it is a beautiful time. And I’m sure the trees get optimum care from the Park Service.
