Belted QF 2-pounder "Pom-Pom" 40mm shells being passed up from the shell room to a gun platform on the Tribal-class Destroyer HMS Ashanti in November 1941

QF 2-pounder rounds were 40×158mmR, which were shorter than the Bofors 40x311mmR round.
