Tennessee Snuffy
Folks Can this trickler be used with black powder or only smokeless? What is the difference between a trickler for smokeless and black powder? Thanks Tennessee Snuffy

Lucky R. K.
Mine works fine with black powder. In fact, that is all it has ever been used with. When I shot long range, I weighed the charges to .1 grain. Threw the bulk of the charge with a Lyman 55 then trickled the rest while watching the scales. Shoot Cowboy now and haven't trickled anything for years except in the bathroom.
Widder, SASS #59054
Snuffy, If you're gonna use the trickler with BP, you gotta have it facing East, with the rotating handle on the West. For 'regular' powder, you can have it facing any direction and it will still work great. Also, when using BP, it won't work during holidays or Sundays. That's how BP is. ..........Widder
