First, the doughnuts are cut with a "C" ration can (left), then they are fried in a fruit-juice can (center), then the chocolate icing is applied (right.). The chocolate icing was made from chocolate candy bars and cocoa. Okinawa, Japan in c1945. Alpo Posted October 31, 2023 Share Posted October 31, 2023 I wonder what he made the hole cutter out of? I can see it there on the edge of his cutting board.
