Hoss Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Back in the 60’s my parents owned/operated a small mom & pop motel in central Florida. There was a bad guy in the community who was attacking women. The county sheriff held a class he called “Pistol Packin Mommas” where he taught the ladies how to protect themselves. He suggested a Hi-Standard Derringer in 22 mag as they were easy to carry, simple to operate, reliable. My mom carried one. After my folks sold the motel it was my dads truck gun for many years. I shot it a few times. Not sure what ever happened to it. been keeping my eye peeled at gunshows & pawnshops. Woukd occasionally see them, but were more than I wanted to pay. Finally found one in an estate auction. happy to add this one to the collection!
