I shoot .38’s, .357’s are a little more recoil than I like from that gun. I prefer my S&W model 19 for .357’s but the Cobra is probably the most accurate revolver I have. Forty Rod SASS 3935
1. I put double diamond grips on my 1911 simply because I like the look. 2. a few months back a friend died and left me his 1957 Detective Special. That 2" barrel doesn't seem to hinder the accuracy even a little bit. It's about 90% and all original except for A Tyler T-Grip that I bought for it. It makes the gun a bit easier to handle and, as a friend says, "it looks really professional", whatever that means. It's easy and comfortable to carry in an upside down "vampire" shoulder rig......so I do.
