Subdeacon Joe
Captain's Log, Stardate 43125.8. In preparation for the decommissioning ceremony for the USS Enterprise NCC-1701D, we have the exceptional honor of being escorted by one of the newly re-engined Federation ships...the B-52X. First flown April 15th 1952, the B-52 has been in continuous service, undergoing multiple upgrades during its lifetime. The now reengined B-52X is expected to serve up to stardate 53000.0 and beyond if no suitable replacement is available at that time. >>>Sierrahotel.net<<<
Pat Riot
Hmmm…seems like we have some other events happening on this date worth perusing. Captain's Log, Stardate 43125.8. Our mission: to explore the vast expanse of space and travel to the remote edges of time in a search of miniskirts. Should we find them, we will record their existence for the betterment of mankind. It is only because of the gravity and importance of this mission that I'm willing to put this ship and crew at great risk. https://www.retrospace.org/2015/06/mini-skirt-monday-190-sci-fi-minis.html?m=
Trailrider #896
The U.S. Air Force has said it intends to retire the B-52 in 2050. I have told my doctors I want to see that, even though I had nothing to do with it during my service (I was a missile maintenance officer). Since I was born in 1942, I will be 108! I'm serious! I truly hope you do. Better yet, tell them you want to live to Star Date 43125.8. That will be February 15, 2366. That ought to get them excited.
