Trailrider #896
Gen. Luong and his family were lucky. We left thousands of Hmong & Meong tribesmen who assisted our Special Forces during the war, to the "tender mercies" of the NVA. Now, in spite of one of our high-ranking generals saying we are going to evacuate 21,000 Afghani interpreters and others who worked with us in Afghanistan, the White House is saying they aren't so sure, and those eligible may only be people who served more than 2 years with U.S. forces! If that occurs, what native personnel will be willing to help us in future conflicts? Trust the Americans? Oh, sure!
