Sedalia Dave
Those are Italian proof house markings. There is no way to determine the manufacturer from those marks. http://www.powderhombre.com/mbpproofmarks.pdf http://www.nramuseum.org/media/940944/proofmarks.pdf
Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329
Best way is to try it in one of the guns. Uberti & Pietta cylinders are not interchangeable. Uberti cylinders are a bit longer. However, IMHO, it is likely to be a Pietta, as it is not scroll engraved. I have several Pietta cylinders that are plain like that, but I don't remember ever seeing a Uberti cylinder that was plain. I just measured one, and it is 1.8560 from the face to the flat spot between chambers (does not include the little cocking tit) Hope this helps --Dawg
