Shooter starts with rifle.  Shoots one on target one, two on target two, and two on target three when his rifle breaks.  He declares the break as he sits it down.  In order to avoid a "P" is there more than one option to finish with his pistols?

Stage may be shot in any order, rifle must not be last. Start anywhere behind the tables with one hand touching any gun the other hand touching shotgun shells.
Open and empty shotgun staged anywhere safely, rifle loaded with 10 rounds staged at Pos 2, pistols loaded with 5 rounds each and holstered.

To signify ready, shooter says: ”So you’re Jack Wilson”

After buzzer, engage the 2 shotgun targets at position 1, engage the 2 shotgun targets at position 3 and at position 2 engage the 6 stationary targets with a progressive sweep from either end for a total of 21 rounds.
Rifle reload can be loaded at any time after the buzzer

1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, 4 on 4, 5 on 5, 6 on 6

As long as the shooter puts the correct number of rounds on each target, there is no P.

Since it’s a round count and shooter’s choice on gun(s), I believe the shooter has the option of reloading the pistols or taking the misses for unfurled rounds. I don’t see anything in the stage description specifying the number of rounds per gun or where the reload occurs.

Shooter should have the option to:

A ) Continue the sweep from the point the rifle broke: 1 on 3, 4 on 4, 5 on 5 (taking the 6 rifle misses at the end of the sweep)
B ) Take the 6 rifle misses and begin the pistol sequence with 4 on 5, 6 on 6

No option to reload pistols to make up rifle misses.
