Jerkline Jesse, SASS #64073 Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 For sale is something of a Frankenchester. It's a takedown that someone mixed 2 to make one, then replaced the stock with something modern looking. It also doesn't feed terribly well from the magazine. All that said, for SASS purposes, it's actually dandy. It's one of the smoothest 97s of my experience. Appearance is good patina, except for that new stock. LOP is 12.5", with a good pad. $250, or trade. Trade interests would be a Single Six, SP101, S&W 442/642, or 9mm or 45 Glock. Can do FTF around Bluffton Ohio, or ship for actual cost.
Jerkline Jesse, SASS #64073 Posted March 21, 2020 Author Posted March 21, 2020 Apologies for the bubble maker in the pictures. I didn't see that till just now. Lol
Texas Lizard Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 Not good for much...Why not just sell it for parts..... Texas Lizard
Jerkline Jesse, SASS #64073 Posted March 25, 2020 Author Posted March 25, 2020 Runs slick as a whistle for single loading. But I'd be happy to sell you all the parts for $300...
Splitthumb Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 J J , if you are going to part it out , put it on EBAY , you can make more money by doing so . You can sale everything except the receiver , also you can part it out on gun broker , including the receiver
Splitthumb Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 Looking at the serial numbers , the receiver was manufactured in 1932' , and the barrel , magazine , takedown collar was manufactured in 1927' . If this helps anyone decide if they may be interested .
