Prof. Fuller Bullspit
For sale, this pair of Pietta .44 caliber 1851 Cap and ball revolvers. $275.00 for the pair plus $10.00 to help pay for part of the shipping by U.SP.S. In the United States. This set of revolvers were among my favorite cap and ball guns because the 1851’s point like lasers for me. These are in good used shape with slight marks from handling. These have the best fitted handles of any I have owned. They are fitted with stainless after market nipples that I think I got from Track of the Wolf. Please note: All of the 1851’s I have owned, including these exhibit cap (CCI 11) rubbing on the recoil shield unless you put them on tight. I always used a section of deer antler to press them on tight and this eliminates the issue. If you don’t do this the caps will rub on the recoil shield and cause binding. (I also have a pair of .36 caliber 1851’s up for sale. Buy both pair and I will ship them out in an older Doskocil plastic pistol case they have always been stored in.)
