Dantankerous
Looking at maybe adding one to the sixgun heard... I've handled a couple in stores but never had a chance to shoot one. Anyone have any range time with either the .357 magnum or 10 mm Ruger Match Champion they'd comment on? Yeas, nays, other thoughts?
Pat Riot
I have no experience with them, but I have talked to people that like them very much. I handled one at a gun store and was pleased they didn’t weigh as much as other Rugers I have handled. The gun counter clerk said that it was as heavy as others but Ruger balances these better than some of the others. The others I handled were GP100s and Redhawks. He said that they were accurate in his hands and that he bought one after firing it at a demo shoot. The billboard on the side of the .357 kind of turned me off, but then if a gun shoots well I really don’t care what others think of it.
Church Key, SASS # 33713
I use a .357 Match Champ w/.38 Spls in IDPA. Like it a lot. Has excellent balance. Use Wolf springs. Prefer it over my JM S&W 25. The MC also is an excellent woods gun w/357's.
Stogie
I love mine in .357. I use my cowboy 38's in it for double action revolver matches. It's more accurate than I am.
