Chas B. Wolfson, SASS #11104
Yesterday Annie and I attended a holiday car show hosted by Street Side Classics in Mesa, AZ. The event was put on to support the Marine Corps Toys for Tots toy drive. All I can say is WOW! There were four other highly advertised car shows in the east valley yesterday, but the attendance at this one was unbelievable with over 400 vehicles present. The boxes to hold the donations over flowed to the extent that pickup trucks were used to hold all the toys donated. The support from all different car enthusiasts was incredible. Events like this and what Forty Rod posted help make you realize that complete strangers and friends alike can come together to make a positive difference in someone's life. You all have a blessed Christmas and hopefully remember every day henceforth why we are really in celebration on 25DEC and "pay it forward". HO HO HO Chas B P.S. Darn you Forty Rod. I have read you post more than a few times. Every time resulting the same way. Blurry eyes, wet cheeks and having to dry off the key board and desk top.
