Will Republicans Prioritize Reciprocity?

I remember a similar wave of panic in the late 80's when the push was on to have CDLs uniform and reciprocity in all States. There were dire predictions of 80,000 pound trucks running over families going to church.

Nothing happened. But many legislators do not appear to be good students of history.

I have sent two letters to each of my senatorial representatives. 

 

RINO Bob Corker sidestepped the issue, saying that he didn’t think the bill was scheduled for an appearance on the Senate floor.

 

I haven’t heard from Alexander, but it usually takes a month or more to hear from him.

 

Corker has chosen to retire and we elected Marsha Blackburn to replace him. A+ NRA rating, but doesn’t take office ‘til first of the year!

 

Unless something or someone can prod McConnel to bring it to the floor, it’s unlikely that it will ever get out of committee.
