Abilene Slim SASS 81783
We don't have cable and tried a subscription to SlingTV which included ESPN 1 and 2. With 8 minutes to go in the Rose Bowl, the broadcast was apparently cut because they only allowed a 3 1/2 hour window for the game. Had to show a lengthy Nissan promo before starting the Alabama/Clemson game. Cancelled the service immediately. Fortunately we were still within the free trial window, so nothing was really lost. We'd have continued the service and paid just for the ESPN, but not now. What kind of business model is this?
Alpo
THE HEIDI BOWL November 17, 1968. Raiders and the Jets. Two minutes left on the clock, but it was 6PM, and NBC stopped showing the game and showed the movie Heidi. The Raiders scored two touchdowns in a minute and a half, and won the game. Pat Riot
I wonder if these services are run by idiots sometimes. Amazon Prime TV is another that pulls boneheaded moves. They want to start charging extra in the middle of a show’s season or when you are going on to the next season in a series they will require you pay. It’s not just the sports services that do these boneheaded things. Annoying.
