Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967
Went to an auction this morning for a short while... a family I know were liquidating Grand-Dad's automobile and memorabilia collection. Lots o' neat stuff there... And my impression was/is that there's a bunch o' folk out there who have a lot more money than sense!!

Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967
Well... there were a number of gas station signs. Old, bit of rust, sheet metal. The listed "expected selling price" was amazingly from a couple hundred to six or seven. Some of those things went for THOUSANDS!! One of 'em, "Propello Gasoline" sign mebbe twice the size of a garbage can lid, topped ten grand. That's when I left. But I am kinda curious about what they got for the '79 RR Silver Wraith... I'll find out Monday.
