Trigger Mike Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 my son fired my TTN double 12 gauge last year and did not like it and insisted on a 410 until a deacon at our church told him he would not be happy with a 410. i let him shoot the TTN again and a pump i used for police duty and a winchester bird hunting gun and he decided he likes the TTN. he wants to hunt squirrel with it.
Marionmedic Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 For home defense, I load #8 for the first TWO in my 870. At 20 feet they will still blow a fist size hole in a wooden door. At 50 feet they assure a LONG and painful visit to an ER or surgical table. Yeah, I am that diabolical.
Lost Trail Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 .22s are for squirrels. My choice also. Promotes excellent marksmanship and not chewing pellets.
Trigger Mike Posted August 25, 2016 Author Posted August 25, 2016 guess I'm afraid of him aiming in the air and missing and not knowing where it will land
