We've had a Class C 24' with a slide-out since mid-2015 and are selling it. Back in the 1990's we had a 32' travel trailer, but it was a FEMA overstock after hurricane Andrew. Bought it brand new, most of the time kept it on our land near Guffey, CO. I did haul it up into the mountains around Kremmling a couple of times for elk season. Got some VERY wide-eyed looks and pats on the back for getting it into and out of places nobody thought was possible with a trailer that size. Didn't like towing it much due to the high profile of it being more of a 'mobile home' rather than a true travel trailer. Will be looking for a travel trailer in a couple years. Like being able to set it up, disconnect and still be able to get around.

I absolutely agree that the LDS church has the right to make that decision. I also believe that there are many modern societal "norms" that are an antithetical to my and others beliefs, that are actually detrimental to society. Often we are told that we must be tolerant by those that are least tolerant.

I grew up Scouting before, during and after my time as a Mormon. Enjoyed it immensely. Never made Eagle, but sure had a lot of fun. Some here and other places have said thing to the effect of: ".. if you don't or won't keep up with the times your business or program will wilt away and die". More often true than not. However, once we start compromising our core ideal, principles and beliefs, what does that say of our character? When do we draw a line and refuse to lower ourselves to the 'popular' level?

It seems that accuracy if of little importance anymore. If you look into the history of kill ratio, rounds fired vs. number of kills, since WWII, it is astounding. Lake City is only running at around 20% capacity and is classified as a toxic site under Super Fund and will be shut down. We import most of our ammunition from foreign nations. 12 of 13 components used to manufacture gun powder are imported. U.S. manufacturers cannot get funding from U.S. banks. U.S. manufacturers are not allowed to approach the U.S. government for contracts. I know I veered off topic, but it's all related.

I have been dealing with Microsoft since DOS 3.2 (1986) and all iterations of their bandaid Windows and Office product variants since. I'm not sure what kind of vacuum these software "developers" are kept in, but it is increasingly frustrating to see very good, stable platforms like DOS 4.11, Windows NT 3.5, Windows 7 be replaced by garbage that was seemingly developed by a mentally challenged lawn gnome. I am very much looking forward to the time, retirement, when I no longer have to have Microsoft Level 3 & 4 tech support numbers on my speed dial.

When I am spotting, I have no issue at all if someone calls to my attention that they are shooting low power .38, .36 or .32 cal pistols. It's a fair warning that the shooter knows they may be an issue due to low powder charge and/or light weight bullets. Seems perfectly reasonable to me.
