night sights on an AR-15

while trolling for night sights I ran across a set for the AR-15. good idea or not necessary?

For me ?

With a red dot and a Laser on all three of my AR's

I dont think its necessary.

Night sights are only good for short range encounters. Great on pistols. Pointless on rifles generally.
