Pulp, SASS#28319
Got to Badlands Saturday AM, loading up the gun cart and discovered I brought my .44-40 cartridges and .357 rifle. I just couldn't squeeze them into the magazine. So I was a watcher, spotter, brass picker, target resetter, videographer, and score keeper. I suppose I could go so far as to say it was my first ever clean match also. No misses, and no BP fouling all over my hands, shirt, and pants. Yes, I was offered a lot of guns to use, but chose not to. Seems like anytime I borrow something, it breaks, I'm out the money for a new one or repairs, and I still don't have one. Great day, followed by a great lunch.
Dantankerous
I feel your pain... My entire CAS season was severely limited by my work schedule. I work waaaaaay too many weekends. I shot cowboy a total of three times in 2015. Most of my CAS participation has been watching Grizzly Dave's and Jed I Knight's youtube videos! Thank God for those! I've still been loading ammo though. I have quite a pile for whenever I get to shoot again. My guns must think I don't like 'em anymore.
Utah Bob #35998
I think Brul Ives said it best. What do you do in a case like that? What can you do but sit on your hat Or your toothbrush Or your grandmother Or anything else that's helpless
