SouthwestShooter
Dangit! And I just got a pair of designer Wrangler Spandex bedazzled pants custom made with extra butt bling! Did Winchester make a 97 in 20 Ga?

Boggus Deal #64218
No. Just 16 and 12. Winchester didn't but I have heard of someone converting some but I do not think them SASS legal.
Bad Hand
Winchester didn't make it, but I think it was "Dusty Chambers" had a 20 gauge model 1897.
SouthwestShooter
thanks-helps me not waste time looking for a 20. Keep your powder dry.
Awful Close
Winchester actually did make some experimental 20 gauge Model 97's. This was a test run. I think there were less than a dozen made. The project was dropped. I don't think they functioned very well when shells were fed from the magazine.
Yul Lose
SWS, out here in SoKal 16 gauge shells are harder to come by and much more expensive than 12 gauge shells. Every time I go through Phoenix I stop at Cabelas and pick up a couple of cases of Herters 16 gauge shells. They reload well also and run about $79.00 per case.
