Subdeacon Joe
One place I worked had a soda machine the boss put in. Cola, Root Beer, Lemon-Lime, V-8, MGD. He didn't mind if you had one at lunch. Sometimes at the end of a hard day he would open up the machine and hand them out.One evening, after working like hell to get a job out that day, I was about to drive it down to the customer (about 2 miles from where I lived). He tossed me a can. I sad, "Thanks! I'll have it when I get home." He said, "Why wait?" So there I was, in a company van, at night, with beer on my breath.
