Church Key, SASS # 33713
I've decided to start downsizing big time. Sold all my film cameras elsewhere. Now starting on some high-end binoculars, giving Wire folks the first shot. First up is a pair of Zeiss miniature 8X20's made in West Germany, probably in the 80's. I got them in the mid-90's and they have spent the last 18+ years in a drawer. Can send pics, as I've not been able to post them on this site. If interested they are $200 shipped. Church Key, SASS # 33713
Zeiss stuff is worth the money. I still use a pair of WWII Leitz 6X30's that were coated by the Russians in the 60's; go figure! I also use a pair of Fujinon 7X50 that are US Navy Mil Spec. These are probably the best buy in big marine binoc's, as B&H still sells them for about $250. All the surplus Navy stuff from WWII will cost more than that.
