FS S&W pocket pistols: One .32. One .38

Recommended Posts

These are both shooters.

S&W (Smith & Wesson) topbreak New Departures. These are the hammerless "Lemonsqueezers" 5-shot revolvers.

Both have 3-digit serial numbers making them the "first generation".

I have shot each and both work fine. I've used light smokeless loads, not BP, but there are those that say these old revolvers need to be shot with BP only. That's probably true for the cheap Saturday night specials of that era, but these are S&W !! :)

So, since these are S&W and early examples, I'm thinking $350 for either.

1. Nickel S&W Safety Hammerless New Departure, "squeeze-cock" DA in .32 S&W (short). Has pearl grips, well fitted but with a little divot missing from the butt on one side. Still has light case-hardening on the trigger. Locks up tight. Pinned from sight.

2. Nickel S&W Safety Hammerless New Departure, "squeeze-cock" DA in .38 S&W (NOT .38 Special). Has original hard black rubber grips. Locks up tight too. Pinned front sight.

If local, I can throw in a little ammo for either one.

But if not, I can still send some empty cases for either.

I'm going to have to review shipping rules and restrictions.

They are antiques, I believe. They may have to go to an FFL or C&R holder?
I am a Private, non-FFL holder so make sure your FFL can accept from me.

I also have more, larger pics that I can send.
