Longhorn Jack
Are all brass 12ga. Shotgun shells legal for SASS?
Lefty Dude, SASS # 51223
Yes, however they seem to favor Black Powder or Subs. I reload and use them for CAS/SASS competition. For Smokless loading they can be a bit tricky. I use both 12 ga. & 16 ga. all brass, and have for several years. Harvey Mushman
DING DING DING!! Yes, they are fully legal and worth at least an additional "Style Point" per stage*, or two - if BP or sub! * Style points are just that, worthless except to the owner or appreciative bystander, just as points on ""Whose Line Is It Anyway" - but I love them! They are about as relevant to your proper score as "Rank points" scoring are when applied within a category.....but that is a whole 'nother discussion you will experience here from time to time....;-) Harvey Who really appreciates style points! The Original Lumpy Gritz
Best for BP. Don't work well for smokeless-BTDT...... LG
Hogleg Hunter
Shoot them with bp at most of the matches I go to. They do not shuck as good as the aa plastics do for me so if it is a big match I switch to plastic.
Presidio
I use those and I use Alcans.....whenever I can get out to shoot that is. I live for Style Points!
