Bottom Dealin Mike, SASS #22273
In 1861, after Texas seceded from the union, and all the federal troops left the Texas frontier forts, Ben McCullough cut a deal with Sam Colt to ship 1,000 of the new Colt 1860 Army revolvers to Texas for frontier defense. 500 successfully made it past the union naval blockade and were used by Texas Rangers to patrol the frontier. Cimarron Firearms offers an accurate replica of these early McCollough 1860 Army Colts. We'll examine the history and features of this gun. Then we'll see what it can do on the range. The Eastwood Kid
Great vid, Mike and that is one beautiful gun! The antique finish really looks great. I had seen it on Cimarron's website but your vid shows how nice it looks. And that was some fancy shootin, pard!----------Eastwood
Virgil Ray Hality, SASS# 37355
By golly, you can see the bullet come flyin gout on the opening shot. Takes a nice "round ball-type curve" too! Great video.
Slowhand Bob, 24229
I wish one of the big two would recreate that firs batch of '60 Colts that left the factory. Those first ones shipped with Navy grips.
