Rockridge,SASS #8763
Found a BSS for sale, not a beauty queen but sound mechanical condition. Good bores, chambers are a bit rough but would be polished out anyway. Attractive price, but the problem is the stock has been broken all the way through at the wrist and repaired (not a great repair but seems solid for now) Looking for suggestions on what could be done on the stock (short of having a new one made $$$$$)

Thanks Pardner! Went and bought it, figured it's less than the price of a Stoger and if the stock breaks I now know where to buy a reasonable replacement. Like the way it handles - well balanced. Needed a backup double and a new project anyway.
